Friends of Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent Archive Service invite you to a
Historical Guided Walk around Gnosall
including Afternoon Tea
With Gnosall Heritage Group.
Monday 23 August 2021 2.30pm

St. Lawrence Church

The walk will be led by a member of the Gnosall Heritage Group around Gnosall village, starting at the Grosvenor Centre, and will look at properties of interest, including cottages dating back to 1500 and a Grade II listed thatched cottage built before the Civil War. Visiting the sites of schools, police station, 1830’s Lock-Up and numerous Public Houses with tales of their intriguing past. Arrive at the 11th Century church of St Lawrence for a genuinely good afternoon tea, during which, Norman Hailes will present an illustrated talk on the history of the Grade I listed church.
